Why so much suffering on earth?
A soul is a seed placed on Earth to germinate. It is therefore natural and essential that its envelope is torn. Otherwise, deprived of light, the soul atrophies.
« Just as a seed must be planted in the darkness of decaying soil for it to sprout, so the germinating soul must be planted in matter. »
What is suffering for? To nothing. Simply because it's not a goal. It's a consequence. Not of our acts, because there is never punishment

But to decide on its future incarnation, if any, the soul already has the experience of one or more past incarnations. Meditation in the world of light shows him very clearly the lessons missed. Then, she chooses according to her criteria the time, the place, the family, the color of the skin, etc., then she reincarnates. »

Free will
To ask why God does not intervene in human affairs is to ask why He made man free.
If I am punished when I do bad and rewarded when I do good, what credibility would my outbursts of kindness have?
« I never established what was right or wrong, or what to do or what not to do. That would take away your greatest gift: the opportunity to do what you love and experience the results. To say something is wrong would be to deny you the opportunity to experience that truth. Some say I gave you free will, but these same people claim that if you don't obey Me, I will send you to hell. What kind of free will is that?
It is only through what you call evil that you can know good. »

« Each ordeal has a threshold, depending on the strengths of each, and the Spirit will never demand the impossible. »
If we punished a being still unable to conceive the Good, we would push him further into Evil.
Two lessons can be drawn from this obviousness. The first is that if we suffer it means that we have the capacity to bear it and to move forward. THE SIZE OF THE OBSTACLE
IS NOT PUNISHMENT, BUT CONFIDENCE.
The second lesson stems from the first: if others appear happy and carefree to us, it is because for them the conditions are not (yet) met. « Each existence is strewn with its share of pitfalls, depending on what each of us can bear. »
- God wanted it this way... It's my destiny... It's life...
Relying on God in this way is a resignation. Man must take charge of himself, face all the torments. God will only help him if he has really done what he can for it.

Accepting your trials is the first step towards happiness.
However, man cannot (and must not) accept suffering without understanding.
« The why of suffering, Faith alone can illuminate it. »
But faith cannot be commanded. So how do we get out of it?
« The blind man, Lord, knows nothing of fire. But he is, from fire, lines of force sensitive to the palms. And he walks through the brambles, because any moult is painful. Lord, I go to You, according to your grace, along the slope that makes becoming. »
« A student who wants to learn first scrutinizes the knowledge acquired by his predecessors. He neglects no book, no lecture, no lesson.
Unbelievers, know how to listen and deepen the arguments, and if you do not come to the light of Faith, at least you will be able to refute them. But we have no doubts, the grace of Faith will illuminate the thought of those who seek! »
In the totem, the stone, the sun or the cross, man has always perceived - and accepted - "something" above him.
In the era of technology, this feeling, imbued with naivety, makes you smile. Unable to explain the miracle of life, the scientific community prefers to deny it: man and everything around him appeared "spontaneously", by the effect of a "happy coincidence", combined with "the evolution", with a " favorable natural environment"... and blah blah blah« To say that the complex systems you discover in the universe are due to chance takes even more faith than to believe in God. »

However, by thus rejecting any celestial notion, man finds himself – he, the supreme creature – in an impasse: if he falls, who can come to his aid? The other men? he has always counted only on himself. God ? what god?

Life as it is presented to us is a decoy, a huge deception.
It is said to be unique, with a beginning (joyful) and an end (anguishing, sad), and that we must therefore take advantage of it, and prolong it at all costs.
This vision is the cause of all our misfortunes.
A life is only a passage (often painful, but short) in the (long, very long) life of a soul.
“Life is but a night spent in a bad inn.”
(Saint Teresa of Avila)
Another look at suffering
Suffering is there to awaken and guide the soul but the mental refuses it with all its might.
« Our immature nature is responsible for our unhappiness. This childishness conditions us. We focus on unimportant events, a lot of details which cause great suffering. It is essential to transform our gaze in order to take into account only what gives real meaning to our existence. »
We can give all sorts of qualifiers to life: sad, cruel, unjust, despicable...
It does however only fulfill its role: that of kneading man.
By mixing situations, encounters, clashes, she forges it.
Our soul knows this, and that is why it has descended into this merciless arena that is Earth.
You have to meditate for a long time before accepting this.
« As harsh as they may seem, everyone – in the cosmic interlude – accepted

Knowing, let us repeat, that there is NOT bad circumstances, since all of them have only one goal: to make us move forward.

Misunderstanding and humility
Let's be humble, let's accept not to understand everything, right away.
« Unless you are incorrigibly proud, you should admit that the limitation of your perceptions places you, in the hierarchy of universal intelligence, at about the level of a fish in relation to man. »
« All progress of man is to discover, one after another, that his questions have no meaning. Over the years, the truth comes, like the erasure of a question. »
« Learned men do not mourn over the living or the dead (because they know that the trials are there for our advancement, and that death is only a transition). »
(Krishna)
« Do not judge ; you neither must nor can: an atom cannot apprehend the universe. The subtlest intelligence is incapable of explaining the mystery of pain. Faith alone can enlighten it. »
« The sorrows of life are often the consequence of the imperfection of the Spirit; he who is neither envious, nor jealous, nor miserly, nor ambitious, will not have the torments which arise from these faults. »
Yes, our imperfections can be the source of suffering. If we were "smooth" (perfects), nothing would "cling", Earth-related suffering would disappear.
For the envious man suffers for what he does not have, and the selfish man trembles to lose what he does have.;
as long as we don't control ourselves, we get carried away for nothing; as long as we hate the other, his proximity upsets us; as long as we identify with our ego, we suffer if it is hurt.
« It takes so many years and so many rollings for a pebble thrown into the sea to lose its angles; it is the same for the dross of the soul.
Man, sharpen your soul on the stone of trials. »
- The vicissitudes of life being a consequence of our faults or failings, does it follow that from the nature of these vicissitudes we can know our weaknesses? « Very often. So such will be punished
A being punishes himself when, by a deliberate choice, he wishes to catch up with a life that has left him with remorse.
for his pride through humiliation; he who has been hard on others, by the hardships he will undergo; the bad son, by the ingratitude of his children.
However, this should not be made an absolute rule. Instinctive tendencies are a more certain clue. »
Thus a man speaks of his past life to a medium: « To erase my previous faults, I had to undergo these ordeals which I voluntarily accepted. I drew from the firmness of my resolutions the strength to bear them without a murmur. I bless them today, these trials. I can now contemplate the path travelled.
O you who have made me suffer on earth, who have been harsh and malevolent, who have humiliated me and made me bitter, whose bad faith has often reduced me to privations, not only do I forgive you, but I thank you. By wanting to hurt me, you had no idea that you would do me so much good. You have provided me with the opportunity to return good for evil. God has placed you in my path to ordeal my patience. » (…) Then he exposes his impressions some time after his awakening in the afterlife:
« I had not yet freed myself from earthly ideas; the memory of what I had endured came back to me from time to time, as if to make me better appreciate my new situation. I had suffered bodily, but above all morally; I had been the target of malevolence, of those thousand perplexities more painful perhaps than real misfortunes, because they cause perpetual anxiety. Their impression was not yet completely erased, I still seemed to hear certain unpleasant voices. I groped myself, so to speak, to make sure that I was not the plaything of a dream; and when I had become certain that it was all over, it seemed to me that an enormous weight had been lifted from me.

:
The unconscious, those who go through existence in a semi-sleep, are unaware that life is just that: hardships. These trials that are there to wake us up or strengthen us are never cruel or arbitrary, they are just and useful; their intensity depends on the depth of our sleep and what we are able to bear. Those who cling to their dreams, life lets them sleep, but the awakening will be brutal.
**
What is awakening?
The task of the animal is centered on itself.
He only enjoys what is his.
Its air, its food, its child.
It's (must be) just the opposite in humans.
In a state of non-awakening, we give our attention only to our person and to what revolves around it.« The world is in the state it is in because it is full of sleepwalkers. »
« The men who are still sleeping each live in a different world; those who have awakened all live in the same world. »
( Heraclitus (Greek philosopher ~540 BC) )

Karma is a Sanskrit word for fate. It is sometimes evoked during dramas that seem incomprehensible and unfair, but it can manifest itself in pleasant events. We can say that it tends to restore a balance.

« Revolt is born of non-understanding. We must ask for help from the world of light in order to fully understand the whole lesson, because as soon as it is well learned, evil will no longer have its reason for being.
- And if the evil persists in the same form? « If the evil continues, it is because the lesson was badly learned. Meditate, ask for help; the answer will necessarily come and this form of evil will cease. But, you will tell me, if the next day, a new form of evil sets in, you will quickly conclude that the planet is nothing but a vale of tears. And there, I tell you to start again very humbly to re-understand a new lesson. »
Existence is a ordeal. And like any test, it is accompanied by suffering. It is made up of lessons, which must be considered with humility.
Accepting it makes you strong, ignoring it makes you bitter, and retreating into bitterness makes you bad.

« The time will come, Lord, when you will have pity on my heartbreak, of which I refused nothing. Because I seek the serenity that shines on the disputes absorbed and not a peace made half of love half of hatred.

« How to advise you? You seem to have taken the direction of your life outside of my teachings. Out of God's gaze, without grace, you can do nothing, you are the prey of evil forces; they surround you, encircle you. »
« Alleviate your human suffering as much as possible but do not rebel against it: pain opens the way to the spiritual life of the soul chosen by God.
These apparent injustices, do not judge them. You do not know what is behind this suffering. It may be accepted in advance, a pact made between the soul and God. These devastated may be privileged, spiritually speaking.

How to Engage in the Path
First give up the old; it's not the easiest
You enter the road,
you carry a golden ball, heavy.
You carry it – it's heavy –
but you carry it all the same.
You arrive at the border of a new country,
where no one believes in gold.
What's left? – Only its weight.
What should you do with it, my servant?
Open your hand and the ball will roll down.
Dropping the weight isn't difficult,
but your fingers are still tense from the golden ball.
How can you receive the new ball
if you cling to the old one?
We know very well how difficult it is for you to let go of the weight,
because you are used to it.
He who wears the gold does not feel its weight so much he believes in it.
that the faith [in these things]withdraws from it, only the weight remains.
Flatteries, success, pleasures, all those earthly things that we care about, deprive us of the essential. « And I can, from floor to floor, make you communicate with increasingly vast treasures. If you allow me to guide you to climb the highest mountain, I have treasures for you so hard to conquer that many renounce them in their ascent, because to build the new image, I steal from them the stones of other temples to which they hold. »
« If such a litigation tears you apart, let it grow, you change. Blessed is your heartbreak which makes you give birth to yourself: for no truth is reached in evidence. »
Don't despair, ever. Everything passes. « Even if for you the riches of the world have run out,
Don't cry, it's nothing.
And if you have conquered possession of the world,
Rejoice not; it's nothing.
Everything passes, the pleasure as well as the pain. »
(Anwari Soheili, Persian poet)
« When you feel overwhelmed, dejected, the first thing to do is to tell yourself that this state will not last.
For a moment, take refuge somewhere within yourself, as if going into hibernation, and stay there until you find the breath of life again.
And what I say to you, I also say to myself. And it is precisely because I have had these experiences millions of times that I can tell you about them to help you. Do you believe that I could speak to you as I do if I had not also experienced great trials? »
( Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov, "The duty to be HAPPY")
« The anxiety and anguish that Buddha came to cure 2500 years ago are today very official illnesses. Tranquillizers are selling well and anything that can help people “take their worries away” is great value. Every human being dreams of perfect happiness and of a life where there would be nothing but joys. In the meantime, he seeks pleasant emotions and refuses painful emotions.
Because I don't want to accept the event, the bad news and be one with it, the emotion is born. Emotion is not produced by the fact itself, however "dramatic" it may be, but by the refusal of the fact, the coexistence of yes and no.
All Eastern doctrines teach how to free oneself from suffering. Suffering always comes from denial of facts. I would like this; this does not happen. I refuse the fact that this is not happening and I suffer. »

«Prayer is a bridge thrown over the abyss. » (Alexis Carrel, Nobel Prize in Physiology and Surgery)
A prayer is neither a recitation nor a good deed.
It is an act; that involves us, commits us. A thoughtful thought addressed to God.
No matter the place or the time, it is always heard,
even if it is not followed by visible or immediate effects.
**
« Everything happens with a prayer. Whether you pray consciously or not, for your desires, good or bad, act like prayers and draw around you, in response, powers good or bad. »
« Prayer is creative, it has the strength of the energy that you have transmitted to it. »
(R. Terral-Meyer, 'Lettres de l’invisible')
« The man of flesh can, through the intermediary of the Spirit, come into contact with the cosmos.
(...) When you pray, pray as high as you can reach. Prayer is active thinking. Aim high, very high, with all the strength of your sincerity, of your conviction. You will compel the intermediate layers of the Spirit to rise too, to carry your thought.
This prayer involves a purification of your being. »
By dint of benevolent observation, Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
has noted the phases that a being goes through during a terrible ordeal.
First there is the shock. The daze. Misunderstanding accompanies collapse.
Then comes anger. Against God, life, the rest of the world. This anger, we must not try to contain it. On the contrary. You have to express it: shout, howl your pain; tap on something. Like tears, it helps evacuate the suffocating excess.
Then comes depression, collapse. Again, you have to let it go, but there, without struggling. This period, too, is unavoidable.
Then finally, only then, gently, comes appeasement.
_ _
Here is how Dr. Kubler-Ross describes these phases:
« 1 / The shock. You will lose an eye, probably even both. Reaction of refusal, blockage: « No, not me! ». They "bury their heads in the sand" or go from one doctor to another.
It is often in the solitude and silence of the night that the patient gives up refusing reality. But often he resumes his attitude of denial during the day. It is very important not to demolish this refusal, to respect its defenses.
2 / « Why me? ». The patient becomes disagreeable, makes life difficult for everyone around him, looks for a culprit. His mother, the doctor, God, … His anger is a good thing, you have to let it pass and even encourage it. In fact, he is not angry with you, but with what you represent. You arrive with the image of life, health, spirit, all that he is losing. The more drive and energy you have ("Come on, don't worry!", which the patient translates as "Stop ruining our lives with your lamentations"), the more you irritate him.
Sometimes you have to help them express their anger (which often only takes five minutes), get them to say out loud: « Why is this happening to me? » - and you don't have to answer this question, encourage them to shout. They will then stop constantly ringing the nurse.
To exteriorize the deep depressions, Dr. Ross has installed a mattress on the floor in a room, and encourages the person distraught with suffering, to hit it with all his might with a stick.3 / « Why now? » . The patient seems at peace, but it's a truce. There comes a period of haggling. « Couldn't we wait until my children get married, or have finished their schooling, or… » The promises these patients make, they rarely keep. Almost all patients make these requests for God, even when they have thought little of Him before.
4 / The arms fall. Silent grief, silence. The preparatory depression which follows the depression of reaction.
Do not try to stop their tears, on the contrary tell them: « It is permissible for a man to cry. » They are then able to go through this stage of grief more quickly and reach the final stage, that of acceptance.
5 / The miracle of the 5th stage can finally occur: the miracle of the blind man. For those who see, the serenity of the blind is something incomprehensible. An incredible tranquility has settled. »
« This stage of is acceptance perhaps the most difficult to describe. The patient no longer wants visitors, no longer wants to talk to anyone, has usually put his affairs in order, no longer places hope in treatments and no longer expects his life to be prolonged. The stage of acceptance does not necessarily mean that it is close to the end. It is simply reached when, having looked their finitude in the face, people live another quality of life, with other values, learn to enjoy each day given to them, without worrying about what will happen tomorrow. Acceptance is a feeling of victory, of peace, of sincere submission to what cannot be changed. Rather, resignation is a feeling of defeat, of bitterness of "what's the point?", from "I am tired of struggling". I would say that 80% of patients in asylums are at this stage of resignation.
Of course, all this is schematic. In reality, there are never such clear cuts. The different phases overlap, some repeating two or three times. There are stutters of refusal, risings of anger.
The death :
The atmosphere of modern cities tends to block metamorphosis at its first stage: let's refuse death! Let's not look at it, let's sing, let's dance, live with our eyes on the rear view mirror: Genesis, big bang, evolution, history, growth...
The 4th phase is uneventful, the individual sinks. The problem is that often the people around him, stuck in phase 1, prevent him from going through his 4th phase properly. They are there, stuck to him, desperately trying to get him out of his apathy. However, he has to get used to the idea of what awaits him! To prepare himself psychologically to give up everything. This is not self-evident !
The anguish of the loved ones, especially when it is not expressed, slows down the dying person in his natural slide, unconsciously prevents him from " living his own mourning " and from approaching the 5th phase. The serene acceptance of the great departure must be reciprocal. From heart to heart, the living must let the dying person go. » « Death is part of life, it is important to teach it to children very early on. If we do this, these children will not have to go through the different stages described above later. »
« Acceptance, when by “miracle” it occurs, by the formidable release of energy that it can cause, transforms the dying person into a true “teacher of life” and sometimes even leads to a real and very paradoxical remission. »

Suffering, when prolonged, is similar to maceration.
The being who will come out of it does not depend on the ordeal but on his attitude towards it.
“All moulting is suffering. says Saint-Exupéry, but not all suffering produces a change.

The negative suffering
« Suffering is a 'trial' in the etymological sense of the word. When it is accepted, it dematerializes, purifies. You can suffer infinitely, and all your life, without getting closer to Heaven.
Only suffering accepted elevates. »
« Evil does not come from suffering or fear, but from the refusal of suffering and fear. A circumstance is perceived as "bad", so it is not accepted, which gives rise to a negative, painful emotion in us. »
« Combat sterile suffering, confined to itself. Every trial is a path that opens.
[...] There are two kinds of grief: purifying grief and demoralizing grief, which bears no fruit. »
« Your guardian angel rejoices in the evils which have the effect of shortening your time of trial. But he grieves when you do not bear them with resignation; because these evils are then without result for you: you are like the patient who rejects the bitter drink which must cure him.
Know well that what seems evil to you is not always evil; often a good must come out of it which will be greater than the bad, and this is what you do not understand, because you only think of the present moment or of your person. »
« You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf. ( Joseph Goldstein )

« Just as Moses was unable to set foot in the Promised Land, Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated and died heartbroken because the nation he wanted to unite had divided. What makes me happy is that I can hear this voice telling me: "Maybe you won't make it today, nor tomorrow, but it's good that this thought is in your heart . It's good that you try. You may not see it. The dream may not come true, but it's good that you have the desire to make it a reality." »

Fixing your attention on the pain, accentuates it
One day, having pinched myself, I wanted to evacuate the black ball that appeared at the end of my finger. I proceeded to gently slice the skin with a razor blade. The more I concentrated on the operation, the more the pain worsened. But I continued, marveling at the thickness of the skin. When, finally, the little drop of blood spurted out, I was sweating!
I learned from this lesson that focusing on pain multiplies it.

One of Roland's last messages: « This is very important: know that thought can influence matter.
The course of events may be influenced by the course of your thoughts. There are inner attitudes that attract misfortune just as there are others that attract luck. »!-- Et à l’intérieur de ce phénomène, il y en a un autre : les pensées reliées à nous. -->
« Good thoughts, positive thoughts, are truly a spiritual alchemy whose power is miraculous. Their opposite, negative and malicious thoughts have a destructive power for the one who maintains them. »
« Pain tries to be self-sufficient, pushes to suppress everything that is not pain. A being who really suffers does not want to do anything but suffer; he subordinates everything to his sadness. The weak will remain prostrate in this state.
(...) Usually in physical illness the panicked body absorbs the mind. »
« Suffering is an integral part of our lives. It is inseparable from it, so we must accept this fact and transform our attitude towards it. Opposing it only increases it. Stopping rebelling against it is the first step; then we can face it. The night becomes endless when sleep escapes us and we add our anxiety to it.
If some suffering is impossible to overcome, it is all the more important to transform our state of mind vis-à-vis it. Assuming it makes it possible not to add unnecessary weight to this pain. »

They insulted him, they humiliated him. We end up doubting his reason, thus realizing his deep wish.
Yes, he wanted people to look askance at him. This is why he often changed his identity, his disguise; he wanted to be different. Comedian, impostor, jester, rather than Rabbi.
He knew how to laugh, wanted to laugh, first of himself, and then of the rest. He played with the kids in the street to mock the Rebbe in him; he played war to ridicule wars. He posed like a madman to make fun of reason and appearances, like a nomad without baggage to underline the grotesqueness of possession.
He clowned around to get rid of the last traces of vanity that remained in him; at home he chose the other extreme: he disarmed his pride by pushing it to the limit; by exaggerating its own importance in all areas. By giving itself implausible dimensions, deliberately caricatural. To laugh about it, and certainly also to provoke his opponents. »
« From the child you will learn to be joyful without reason. »
(Rabbi of Metzerich (1818-1867))
« Accept suffering, but also accept joy, and when it takes you away from sadness and darkness, embrace it with all your being. God loves smiles, God loves joy, God loves open hearts. Adorn yourself with flowers, hum with the angels, know how to remain in the innocence of a child's laughter. »
« I would like to remind those who approach these Dialogues that “spirituality” also rhymes – first? – with “gaiety”, and that this spirituality can be rooted in an unalterable good sense and a very keen taste for the joys of this land. »
« When you have problems, don't worry. God is asking you to clear the way so that He can intervene in your life. So immediately take three deep breaths and then clear your mind so that we, the angels, can take over. Let us take the wheel for a moment. Don't let your mind wonder, "What if this happens to me?" or "What if this happens to me?" , all those «What if…. » that are exhausting. »
« Let your mind focus on one thing: love. Let this be your mantra as you inhale and exhale deeply; and feel your mind clear as if the rays of the sun are chasing away the fog.
Changes are coming to your life, and you feel like you don't know how to contain them. For heaven's sake, don't hinder their course. Don't be alarmed. A child caught in a whirlpool is in danger if he panics and struggles against the current. You will find your security and your power by relaxing. »
« You don't realize how important a smile is. It's the soul that rejoices, that pierces the envelope to place a kiss on the soul of the other. »(A Guide)

- Today it is good to be here. (bright smile)
I often felt how difficult it was for my Master to come down and stay in our overly dense atmosphere. Today my joy makes things easier.
It points to the glass of water.
- What fire does for you, water does for me. Fire is joyful - water is heavy.
I understand that the more I burn with joy, the more I will be able to approach my Angel; on the other hand the fire of the Angel must be attenuated by water so that he can approach me.
One day when we learned beyond any possible doubt of the existence of the gas chambers, we knew despair. We were literally thrown down and in such a depression that it was almost impossible for the Angels to reach us. Nevertheless the sternest, the most inaccessible of them - the Angel of Hanna - joined us in this abyss and begged us to rise. »
« Everyone knows that suffering is a path that leads to God. Judaism is a reminder that joy leads to God, as mitzvah ( good deed) and holy spirit are incompatible with grief or despair.
The joy of doing good is one of the highest experiences. »
(Abraham Heschel, 'God in Search of Man')
« The man who looks at himself can only sink into melancholy, but as soon as he opens his eyes to the creation around him, he will know joy. »
« To the isolated, empty Jew, the Rebbe said: " Your experience is not useless, it is inserted into a whole that takes it into account; know that eternity is found in every moment, that every table can become an altar and every man a high priest; know that more than one way leads to God, but the surest passes through joy and not through tears; know that God does not like pain and sadness; know that the way to God passes through man. The child who sleeps, the mother who caresses him, the old man who listens to the sound of the trees: to each one God is close, in each one God is present". »

The natural reaction to pain is to withdraw into oneself, to wait for “it to pass”. But it doesn't happen. Quite the contrary, because thus brooded, the wound macerates. And our worst enemy becomes ourselves because if someone telling us “You suck”, “Nobody loves you”, “You'll never manage to...”, we would react!
But it comes from our subconscious... so we accept it, we believe it. « Any ordeal tends to lead to withdrawal into oneself and blindness to the rest of the world. Such a problem invades our field of vision; we then mourn over ourselves. The impasse we are entering seems an abyss from which there is no escape. »

Every being is connected to their inner Self, which is connected to God.
Our inner being
« In you there are two characters, one terrestrial, stuck to matter, mired in its heaviness, and the other celestial, letting itself be carried by the light. The moment you conceive your two poles, you become greedy for unity and begin your quest for purity. But that's also where the trouble begins! In the innocence of unconsciousness you found a certain tranquility, operating in the same patterns for generations, fit to taste the pleasures of the flesh.
However, as soon as your consciousness opens to greater lucidity, your thirst for clarity comes up against the shadows.
In the grip of an existential despair, your mind then plays monumental tricks on you. You become the prey of grief, terrible doubts, loneliness and your impatience.
We are with you more than ever in these wanderings. Because then we recognize in you the flame, the inner fire.
Then begins an interior dialogue between your soul, which has already recognized us, and us who are your servants, your companions on the way. At your side, ready to support you in the difficult passages, smiling at your stammerings as a child of light.
In your heart of hearts, ego of earth and soul of light manifest themselves to each other and show themselves in turn. There is no point in adjusting them with a master's hand, there is no point in wishing for their fruitful friendship. Their role is not to oust each other. Thus you grow, by making in you the union of your part of incarnated man and your part of brilliance of light. It is there, in the balanced axis between these two aspects of yourself, that you touch that you touch the new dimension that allows you to Over-Live (among earthly torments). Then your personality of light irrigates your being incarnated in matter for a happy birth: that of the new Man in you, an incarnated reflection of the Father Creator. »

Before learning, it would be necessary to unlearn, to empty oneself of one's certainties. It takes a lot of humility.
« You can't put anything in a container that's full. If you are filled to the brim with the problems of everyday life, there is no room for anything else. »
(Carlos Castaneda, "The Definitive Journey")
« God can't do anything for someone who is already full. You have to be totally empty to let Him in. »
Forgetting ourselves means dying to ourselves no longer caring about our own satisfaction.
--- An apparently impossible approach but one that brings peace to hearts choked with suffering.

Using your suffering
If you have suffered a lot or even if you are still suffering, you are a master for those who are in distress. Offer them your testimonial, offer them some of your time. For example, by participating in this site or by volunteering. There is no shortage of associations. You would find a friendly welcome there and what a wonderful meetings opportunity! Up to you to decide when and how much time you can devote to it; trying it won't commit you to anything.
You will see, there's no better way to take your mind off your pain.
Shift your attention
« Sister Emmanuelle, said the superior to me one day, currently, you only see your problem. It's normal. But share more of other people's problems, and yours will lose its monopoly. Open your heart to the hurt of others, and your wound will heal »

Transcend his suffering
« Any contradiction without solution, any irreparable dispute, obliges you to grow to absorb it.
In your roots you take the earth and its flints and its humus, and you build a cedar.
If you want to grow, wear yourself out against your disputes.
From there comes that the suffering increases you, when you accept it. »
« When a being can no longer bear the weight of his pain, he tries to deceive it, to distract himself from it.
Do not ask for the suppression of your pain, only ask for the grace to transform it. »
« You must understand that your suffering must be sublimated and experienced as a creative ordeal of your being

Work on yourself
* *
« By changing himself, man can change the world which surrounds him and which weighs on his destiny. »
« You have to work tirelessly to build yourself internally.
Whoever has built an inner cathedral will not allow himself to be overwhelmed by disappointments, difficulties or the bad twists of fate. »
« To a woman who complained that life had tried her hard, Edgar Cayce replied: "Don't bemoan your fate. Instead, thank God for give you the opportunity to confront yourself." »
« There is a challenge in life. If people looked at their problems as a challenge meant to make them grow, that would change things a lot. Look at my house. My windows are being shot, my tires are punctured every time I go to the airport, I find KKK crosses since I adopted twenty babies with AIDS. Before that my neighbors were charming...
I have to go through this to grow again. I could have become negative and embittered, and said " to hell with them all " and moved to the Riviera and lived in luxury. »
In this example experienced by a great lady, there is a great lesson: you must not avoid a problem, you must absorb it, sublimate it. « I tell you: you only have the right to avoid an effort in the name of another effort, because you have to grow. »
« I find her one morning with a black face, bloody eyes, her body collapsed on the ground. She ends up confessing. Khayri, after crushing her with blows, threw her against the door made of old sharp metal. I'm beside myself: “It can't go on, Fauzeya, let's take the children and go to your parents!” A categorical no: “Lê, lê”. Through the blood that covers her eyes, she casts a look of love on her four little ones: “Do you see, they adore their father, they will suffer far from him!” She adds: “It is I who must suffer!” She grabs Teresa, the youngest child, and cradles her, smiling softly at her. Peace returns to his heart.
I look at her, unable to speak. His swollen face radiates tenderness. He is as if transfigured by the joy of loving. It seems natural to her to suffer so that her children do not suffer. She's decentralized all from itself. Its source is in them, she draws there its reason for living, its serenity and its joy.
You make me question myself, Fauzeya. Have I ever said, "It is I who must suffer so that others are happy?" - Fauzeya, teach me to love. »

Depression: danger
A problem is crushing us, we see no way out of it.
So we give up the fight. You don't have to.
Letting the soul sink represents an unsuspected danger:
by lowering our vibrations in this way, our defenses fall, and the spirits of the lower astral are attracted and invade the mind.
Not necessarily the worst, but certainly the most depressed; those who inspire the worst resolutions.

« It is in depression
that we are most self-centered. Nothing can undermine our natural strength and health more than prolonged neurasthenia. But when we apply ourselves to forgetting our ego and focusing on the needs of others, the healing takes place. »
« Lay down your burden for a moment, think of the future, the great Future, the only one that really matters, the future of your soul. Prepare it without thinking about the fall or winter of your life. »
It is often the future, near or far, for us or for those we love that worries us. However, the present, immediate moment is in itself rarely unbearable.
Why are children carefree? because only the immediate preoccupies him.

« The road to eternity is long. Fervor is a stream of sunshine in the depths of being, it is a reverberation from beyond. As soon as this light ceases to illuminate you, the taste for life is extinguished within you. Accept without rebelling the ordeal of dull days.
There are dreary days, without exit, deprived of God, of faith, of grace. Around you everything is collapsing, nothing seems to want to succeed. In these moments of abandonment one must withdraw into oneself. »
« These are swooning and would have you believe that they are burning night and day. But they lie.
The poet lies who speaks to you day and night of the intoxication of poetry. He sometimes suffers from a stomachache and mocks all poems.
Lies the lover who claims to you that night and day he is consumed by thoughts of his beloved. A flea distracts him, for it bites. Or mere boredom, and he yawns.
The saint lies who professes to you that night and day he beholds God. God withdraws from him at times, like the sea. And there he is, drier than a pebble beach. »
« Time, Space and Patience are the means by which Man, as a limited spirit, becomes aware of the Infinite.
Patience does not simply mean waiting, but it is the attitude of those who bring their nature into accord with the laws of Nature. »
« The test, in any case, will end as soon as you have internally removed from it what is necessary for your evolution. Be patient, the ordeal will pass. »

« My neighbor to the east, when he was paralyzed and one side of him turned cold and dead, and he carried with him that Siamese brother who no longer laughed, he lost none of his dignity; much better, he succeeds in this apprenticeship. We climb what we will not cross, we begin what we will not complete, we believe what we will not prove, we build what we will not inhabit; we plant shade for others. No enjoyment, and for no one. Tyranny is heavy on tyrants; goodness is bitter to the good. Ingratitude, what a chalice! Nothing fits us; one never completely enters the place where one is; one does not recognize his mold in any of the hollows of life; there's always too much or too little. Take the time to go out, to go for a short walk in a quiet place.
Otherwise, at any time, follow this advice:
Breathe as you say to yourself: "Benevolent forces of nature, enter me, inspire me, protect me."
(the sentence is deliberately long, allowing you to breathe in deeply)
then exhale, with mouth wide open, with the conviction to chase away dark thoughts, discouraging, that are invading, oppressing you.
The yawn that each breath triggers, helps release your tension.

« Meditation
helps to hear the messages of the angels, but it is not the only way. By connecting with nature, you slow down your emotions and thoughts. Make a habit of appreciating every bit of nature – a cloud, a tree, the chirping of a bird – you will experience a wonderful relief. Spend time in nature. A hike, a snack in a park or at the edge of a stream and you re-establish your links with Mother Nature and your guardian angels.
Another way is to take two or three deep breaths, hold your breath for five to ten seconds, and then exhale slowly. Imagine yourself inspiring relaxation, joy, peace. Exhale stress, tension and worries. The spirit world communicates with us through our breath. Breathing (deeply) is in essence, the way to call Heaven. »
« Too often you live without taking care of your soul. Feeling abandoned, she hides in the depths of being. It takes a melodious existence for it to mingle with life.
When you make silence within you and walk on paths filled with sunshine, she comes out and you are in her company.
The enchantment is then sudden, you are no longer alone. »
« Nature is a contact, a true thread that can connect to sources in the background.
Your daydreams in nature can reach a rare quality. Is it not from the branch of a tree that a bird flies away?
(...) Take refuge in nature. Alone, walk on bare ground. Flee the cities where the earth is imprisoned under the asphalt. Look for the alleys, the small roads, you will recharge yourself, without knowing it, with pure elements. Walk to find yourself. »

It has been scientifically proven that laughter feels good. So will you be surprised if, in the opposite way, sinister information poured out daily generates or maintains sadness?
« If you feel exhausted or irritable, you may be imbued with darkness. You have likely identified with someone's fears and worries, and thus absorbed their dark energies by becoming one with them through your empathy. »

« New generations must constantly face bad news, constantly face violence. They are immersed intensively and continuously in fear and tension. This is the first time in human history that a phenomenon of such magnitude has occurred.
The time spent in front of television continues to increase, its power is real, its impact significant. They modify our behavior, our tastes and probably our thinking.
The power of the media is all the more important because it also addresses the unconscious. »
This important message from the Dalai Lama is confirmed by a mediumistic contact with Edgar Cayce, 50 years after his death: « There is no longer any silence in the houses. Either the radio, or the stereo, or the TV works, and often all three at the same time. In a single day, all the horrors committed in the world will have been transported into your homes, with great cries and noise.
(...) I must explain to you what causes this fear of life in young people. Firstly, the parents' soul is itself distraught, off-centered and the child feels this unhealthy and continuous feverishness. The parents' souls are nourished, among other things, by a constantly on television which conveys all the violence of the planet in selected images, accompanied by appropriate music. »Professor Kenneth Ring cites the typical patient returning from NDE
: « What shocks him the most? the permanent display of violence, physical or verbal.
(...) TV programs have the effect on him of a “vomit flow” in his own house. On the heads of his children! »
Love, perfect fairness, beauty, infinite sweetness exist...on the higher vibrational plane.
Our soul knows it, feels it. That's why she yearns for it, especially when life on earth weighs on her. « The heart and soul would like to rediscover the lightness, texture, space and grandeur of the lost paradise. This desired elsewhere which permeates human memory and nourishes its impulses. »
